What our customers say
We’ve subbed Palmer Fence on multiple Garcias General jobs and they’re our first call for iron and fence work. Licensed, insured, COIs sent same day, and their crews are true pros. Showed up on schedule, no change orders, zero punch list items, and left the site cleaner than they found it. If you’re a GC who hates babysitting subs, call Palmer.
I own a commercial property in Sacramento where I use Palmer Fence exclusively. If you need something done well, quickly, and at a fair price, please consider them.
They were able to complete a fence for us in a short amount of time which was extremely helpful to our business. Their communication throughout the whole process was great. Definitely recommend using them for your fencing needs 10/10!
My company just moved to the area and needed a parts cage installed. Called around, had different local companies come out. Palmer’s was the best quote we received. Came out same-day as we called to give an estimate. Installed my parts cage in a couple of hours. They were professional, clean, courteous. Paulina the office manager was great. Easy to deal with, called and checked if I had any issues and has been a pleasure to work with to get it all done.
Paulina and Francisco are great to work with and work fast too. I sent them a picture of what I needed and in 5 days they built my dumpster enclosure just as I wanted. I couldn’t be happier with their work, communication and willingness to deliver as promised, which they did.
Francisco was extremely professional. He made it out to me quickly for a quote. I requested a specific strength and durability and he delivered. Our fence looks great and the job was done very quickly. Best pricing I could find also. I will definitely use him again for future projects.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
What does a commercial fence cost?
Six-foot chain link runs $55 to $70 a foot on a full run. Ornamental iron runs $40 to $120 a foot installed, and 6-foot iron lands mostly at $70 to $90. A gate runs $1,600 to $10,000 installed, by width and by what opens it. Height, the ground the posts go into, and how many gates the job has set where it lands inside those bands. What a commercial fence costs in Sacramento breaks it down by material.
How long does a job take?
Most projects install 2 to 4 weeks after approval. Fence panels go up at about 1 to 2 days per 100 feet. A gate takes 1 to 2 days to install, and a batch of one to four gates takes about a week to build, or about two weeks when it goes out for powder coat.
What do you need to price my job?
The site address, a rough length and height, and how many gates the job has and how wide the openings are. Photos of where it goes cover the rest. We price most jobs from that, and we set up a site walk when the scope needs one.
Do you pull permits?
No. The owner or the general contractor deals with their jurisdiction, and we build to what the agency asks for. We also do not take a gate through a fire agency’s approval process.
Can you match an existing fence?
Yes. We match the picket size, the spacing, and the top on the run that is already there, and powder coat to the color on the property.
Are you licensed, insured, and bondable?
Yes. We carry full insurance, and bonding is available when a public agency or a general contractor requires it.
